Henry David Thoreau (author of the book "Walden") believed that people could live peacefully within their environment. Our facilities were designed to complement the beauty of the natural setting - not to intrude upon it. Every building is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Madawaska stretches over 750 acres of exceptional beauty in Eastern Ontario. Our private lakes surrounded by vibrant woodland, create an exquisite setting for the celebration of summer.

All Madawaska campers sleep in spacious, well-ventilated cabins. There is ample room for each camper’s belongings and the cabins are conveniently located in close proximity to the shower facilities.

The beautiful landscape provides a variety of sporting fields and courts with a breathtaking waterfront on a private lake. Madawaska Camp is held at Camp Walden, recognized as one of the finest private camps in Canada.
