The growth of beach volleyball over the past few years has been remarkable. The success of Canada's Mark Heese, John Child and many others has given the sport the credibility and popularity it deserves.  The Olympic association has called beach volleyball  "the sport of the next millennium."

We recommend that athletes be at least 13 years of age to participate in the beach program. A limit of 200 players will be accepted.

Facilities
Madawaska has one of the finest camp facilities on the continent. Twenty new beach courts have been built, for a total of 23 excellent sand courts (some are lit).

Staff
The beach coaching staff will include some of Ontario's top beach players, as well as guest pro beach players.

The beach section is overseen by Hernan Humana who runs a very successful and popular indoor beach program in the Toronto area.  Hernan was the former coach of the women’s indoor York University team and he served as the Technical Director for the O.V.A for eight years.  Most notably, Hernan was the coach for Heese and Child when they won their Olympic bronze medal in 1996.

Check "beach" as your camp of choice on the application form with a $200 deposit and get ready for a spectacular week on the beach.
